Unit overview

Globalization accelerated after the Cold War, driven by technological advances, free trade agreements, and the spread of democratic ideals. The internet revolution transformed communication and commerce. However, globalization also produced challenges: environmental degradation, economic inequality, terrorism, and cultural tensions between tradition and modernity.
